Before you book

A few answers before you take the next step.

It is okay to arrive with questions. You should know who is listening, how the conversation works, and what you can expect next.

Which option is right for my family?

Choose the amount of time that gives you enough room to explain what is happening without rushing. If you are unsure, start a conversation and we can help you decide whether this is the right fit.

What happens in the first session?

You explain the situation from your point of view. We make room for other perspectives where helpful, look at the wider context, and agree on a useful next step rather than leaving you with more abstract advice.

Can support focus on one specific challenge?

Yes. One routine, transition, or recurring moment can be the right place to start. We will still listen for the wider family context so the response does not become too narrow.

Will the plan work for our home and schedule?

It should be shaped with your actual routines, time pressure, communication style, and capacity in mind. If a plan cannot survive ordinary family life, it needs to be changed.

Can siblings, caregivers, or school partners be included?

When it is useful and appropriate, yes. Each person may need space to be heard, as well as a clear understanding of what the family is trying together.

What if I do not know how to describe what is happening?

That is okay. Start with a moment you remember, what it was like for you, and what you wish had been different. We can build the picture from there.
